Institute leadership continues to communicate important information for cadets, their families, faculty & staff, and the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú community at-large:

  • ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú's featured stories explore life on post as well as how ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú's leadership training and commitment to academic, military, and athletic excellence set cadets up for success during and after their time in Lexington.
  • The March 2025 Institute Report is now available to view and download, with features including a look back at Breakout, guest speakers, conferences, and impactful faculty research.
  • The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú community and general public are invited to an evening of inspiration and leadership with Steve Cannon, a distinguished executive, philanthropist, and military advocate. Cannon will speak Tuesday, April 1, at 8 p.m. in Gillis Theater, Marshall Hall, as part of the Courageous Leadership Speaker Series hosted by the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Center for Leadership and Ethics (CLE). 
  • Parking Changes - VDOT has begun a Route 11 bicycle lane construction project, creating a permanent removal of parking spaces along either side of Main Street (Route 11) in front of ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú facilities from Massie Street to Hook Lane (the Aquatic Center to Cormack Hall). More information and a downloadable map are available.
  • Building Access - Due to safety and security enhancements, a ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú-issued ID card is now required for entry to Cameron Hall, effective immediately. This new protocol will not affect access to the ticketing office.

ROTC at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú: Answer the Call

Alumnus Returns to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú: New Asst. Director of Global Education

Capt. Nolan Lipscomb ’19, has been named assistant director of the Office of Global Education (OGE) at Virginia Military Institute, assuming the position held for nearly 25 years by Lt. Col. Patricia Hardin.

For the second consecutive time, the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúEthics Team won the Senior Military College Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl, a one-day virtual event hosted by the University of North Georgia (UNG) Feb. 15.
